about this coffee

this coffee has all the classic flavors we love in an Ethiopian coffee—nuances of berries, chocolate, tea, honey, and citrus—but what really sets it apart is its out-of-this-world texture.

we’re proud to buy this coffee from Solomon and support the work he and our importing partners at Primavera Coffee are doing to bring it to us. this one is delightfully chuggable, and we can’t wait for you to try it!

Solomon Hameso Boku & the Huro Tibro.

while the coffee itself is delicious, we also love the work happening behind it. Solomon goes out of his way to create jobs for women, which is still uncommon in many coffee-producing communities, at both his farm and dry processing site. he also finds creative ways to provide financial support to elders in his community and supplies high-yield coffee starts to other local farmers.
