We hosted the first ever “drink coffee and draw” event in partnership with @drink.and.draw.chico in the atrium this August!
What's drink and draw?
Julia Flynn, the host of this event described it as, "drink and draw is a 4-hour, drop-in, bring-your-own-art meet-up featuring a guided group activity, a 15-minute guest presentation with Q&A, and self-guided “studio time.”
All projects that our community brought it were encourage to me "minimal mess" and to follow the "leave no trace" initiative before heading on their merry way. This event is the perfect environment to learn new techniques, perfect your craft, and make new connections all in one. This was a really wonderful time and we hope you can stop by our next one!
